Entry qualifications

I. NVQ Level 5 – Diploma in English and Education/ NVQ Level 6 – HND in English and Education accepted by the TVEC

 or

II. National Diploma in Teaching (English) offered by NIE at Colleges of Education

 or

III. NDTT (ELT) offered by NITESL/University of Vocational Technology.

 or

IV. HND in English offered by SLIATE

 or

V. English Specialist Trained Teacher’s Certificate

 or

VI. National Diploma in English offered by NITESL/ University of Vocational Technology. and any other qualification with an ELT related component acceptable to the Academic Council of the University

 or

vii. G.C. E (A/L) in a relevant streams (Only for weekday programme)
