PROGRESS PRESENTATION 


1. You are expected to do a progress presentation once in three months commencement of your internship. (That is; one presentation at the completion months and the final presentation at the end of the training session.) 


2. The presentation should be done in front of the inspection panel at the relevant ATI


3. The date and time of your presentation will be notified to you by the department of English of the relevant ATI. 


4. You are requested to submit your teaching portfolio and the training record book on the day of your presentation. 


5. You will be given 20-30 tninutes for your presentation. 


6. You may include the tbllowing facts in your presentation. 

a) The experience, you gathered throughout the training period. 

b) The problems, you faced in organizing and conducting the lessons and how you overcame those problems. 

c) The support which was given by the school administration and staff. 

d) Specific advancement that you made in your students. 

e) A sample lesson plan with suitable activities, etc. 


7. There will be a 10 minute QA session after your presentation. 


8. The inspection panel can question you on your teaching portfolio and reflective diary t0 check the reliability and originality of your works.


9. In addition to the progress presentation you are expected to do a sample micro teaching session in front of the inspection panel. 

a) The duration of the teaching session can last up to 15- 20 minutes. 

b) The appropriate lesson plans and the teaching, learning activities should be planned for the teaching session.
